I am super excited to be going to Diner en Blanc next week!  I can't stop thinking about what I'm going to wear and how I'm going to dress the table.  I've been Pinning whenever I have the chance.

So I thought I'd put together a moodboard of all things white...

I had so much fun putting this shoot together, from concept through to installation.  We wanted to use the model as a prop rather than having her as a focus in the shot.  The client wanted to incorporate a sense of British eccentricity, so I was keen to get a little bit of humour into the shot.  The moose wearing a crown, the giant rainbow cake to celebrate Autumn Fair's 25th birthday all kept the feeling of Autumn lightheartedness.

I recently styled a shoot for Baileys Irish Cream, which was a series of aspirational cocktail making videos.  Here is the Shakerato perfect for this heatwave!  Baileys key colours are Black, Gold and White.  This time they wanted to introduce some bright graphic colours.

This recent shoot incorporated 1970s yellow with 2015 neons.

The stunning retro furniture is from Forest London : Danish Beach Armchair £810, TG X F Dynamic Two Seater Sofa with Tamasyn Gambell fabric £1,650, Classic Teak Sideboard £1,100.

The amazing screen printed posters are designed and printed by Ben Rider.

The beautiful cushions are designed, printed and made by the super talented Debbie Manson.

If you haven't already noticed, you may now see that pink has turned out to be my favourite colour. 

It was as much of a surprise to me!  In this shoot I combined coral with black and white for a crisp modern feel, that takes the girlie element out of the pink.

Sometimes you just get inspired and have to shoot.  This was a prime example of that.  These beautiful pieces came together to form this gorgeous French Greys shoot.

I used a combination of florals and stripes, textures and layering.  I particularly love the different textiles of lace, linen and dobby and the ceramics next to enamelware and metal.

I am also really happy with the lovely softness that Jemma Watts has created in the photography.

{ T O W N & C O U N T R Y }

I can't help but get a bit of a kick out of describing my job sometimes.  During the weeks that I was working on this shoot for Town & Country magazine, I was asked by friends, family, colleagues, strangers "what are you working on at the minute?".  I couldn't help but enjoy the looks of surprise and bemusement on their faces when I said "cheese".  "Cheese?" they'd say, and I'd say "yes, and bread...".  And here are the results.

My job was to source the bread and cheese of course, and I worked with some amazing companies to get the finest of both.  After all, they were to showcase these extraordinary luxury time pieces and jewels (for full jewellery and watch credits, please see Town & Country magazine).

Firstly I would like to thank the extremely talented, helpful and generous George Bellamy-Adams, head baker at Albion.  He baked these beautiful bespoke breads especially for us and they look amazing (I can also tell you that they tasted delicious too..).

The cheese was provided by two very knowledgeable retailers.  

English cheeses were provided by Neals Yard Dairy.  Fiona Sanson in particular was passionate and full of advice and guidance. 

French cheeses were provided by La Bouche.  Stephane Cusset went out of his way to help and helped me solve a couple of mysteries.

I loved working on this Figleaves shoot as we had to create a hot paradise beach in the middle of wintry London.  I could tell you how.... but that would spoil the effect!
