{ A V O C A D O S }

I had so much fun, as always, working with Meredith at The Meredith Collective.  This time she needed to be buried in Avocados for the promotion of their Avo Pop Up!  Nathan Pask, always gets me the BEST jobs!  Here's a little peek at one of the images from the shoot.  Make sure you register your interest to be in with a chance of attending the party!

I ran a paper wisteria making workshop at the 91 magazine launch party.  I made them in bright colours, you can see them on my instagram feed.  I loved them so much I made some in white for a press day I was styling for Facet PR.  They were very therapeutic and simple to make.  Here's a little how to...

1. cut some tissue paper into squares    2. then cut the squares into balloon shapes

3. take a balloon shape at a time and twist the long end around your thumb to make a petal
4. thread some cotton through the twisted end with the petal facing downward

5. continue to thread the petals on top of each other randomly placing from one side to the other
6. tie off the end with a knot and a loop all ready to hang!

You can see the full blog post on the 91 magazine blog.

Anyone else falling in love with this table by Studio Ziben?  Just so pleasing on the eye.  I think it's the combination of the super clean lacquer with the aged, but sharp wood?  Whatever it is I'm in love with it.  Also excited that Studio Ziben's founder, Mariusz Malcki was born in Poland...!  I will have to go and visit the studio when I am in Berlin in August this year.  Can't wait to see what other design treats the city will have in store for me.

{ F A S H I O N F O O D W A R E }

I have just fallen in love with these new Fashion pieces from ConSept!  I love the illustrations by Adrian Valencia.  I think I need Karl and Anna in my plate life immediately!!!  And the fact that they are fine bone china and rimmed in gold just tops it off...

Prices range from £30 for a mug to £65 for large plates.

I was very excited to be featured in 91 magazine's blog last week.  I took some Polish Easter traditions and gave them a modern pastel twist.  Malcolm Menzies took the gorgeous pictures, it's always a pleasure working with him!

I painted eggs in pastel acrylic paints, these are called pisanki in Polish and I made palms out of tissue paper which are called palemki.

If you're interested in learning a little more about what other crazy thing we Poles get up to at Easter time, have a read of this article.

{ A S H L E Y R O B E R T S - S O N Y }

Ashley Roberts shows off a new persona as a real-life ‘doll’ in her most colourful photoshoot yet.  We hired in these amazing giant lollipops and throne.  I even had to track down a vintage motorbike!  The building blocks and the giant buttons were made by my favourite Set Builder Richard Morrell.

From Biker Chic to Marionette, Harajuku Girl to Rag Doll, and a beautiful Princess, Ashley is the perfect living doll in five contrasting looks.
