{ Not On The High Street does the Designer Wedding Show }
and so do I...
Last week I styled the Not On The High Street stand at the Designer Wedding Show at Battersea Park.
The Designer Wedding Showis full of luxury and designer products and names.
These photos include some of my favourite styling elements.
Below you can see the whole stand. Not On The High Street had the same stand that they had at their last Wedding Fair, but this time they asked for it to be softened as much as possible.
I did this by mixing textures and materials, using lots of fabric, paper and real flowers and by keeping to a simple colour scheme.
Not On The High Street have so much fun stuff to play with, stripy straws, ceramic confetti, lollipop placenames, personalised invitations and so on and so on....
I was in my element!

{ Canon internal product launch }
Last week I created this mock Pop Up Shop for Canon.
The IXUS Style Lounge
I sourced props, styled and dressed the set and styled the mannequins and rails with key SS12 looks.

{ Croydon Carers - week four Valentine's Day }
this week I dedicated my time to giving the shop a romantic feel, just in time for Valentine's Day.
my lovely fellow volunteers put aside anything red or pink or love related over the course of the week. whilst I made this fab giant hearts. I used some scrap cardboard that was being thrown out by my neighbours and some wallpaper that I found on Freecycle. once I had made them, I embarked on the refreshing walk down to the charity shop, carrying huge pink hearts in front of my chest. I like to think that I put a smile on a few people's faces.
once I got to the shop I cracked on with creating a home for cupid in the window and dotted around the store, and hung the huge hearts on ribbon from home, from the suspended ceiling.
all in all, this didn't cost a penny, just some time and creativity. I thin it really brightens up the place. let's hope it pulls the customers in...
{ styling trial }
it's not often you get to sing more than one friend's praises in one sitting.
these are some pictures of some truly beautiful hair styles that my lovely friend Jen Sanson conjured up for my amazingly talented sister, Mee's, audition at Live & Unsigned next week.
I felt blessed to be surrounded by such talent and creativity.
check out the music video that Mee has created from this hair day.

{ you just know }
I thought you might like to know that today was the day. The day I new that it was time to light the Diptique Baies candle. I made it a little special by lighting it with a Jo Malone match. It's true, you just know when it's time... Lx
